An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Specialty Doctor to join an exceptional hospital service based in the Willenhall area. As a Specialty Doctor you will be working with one of UK's leading health care providers.

The aim at the hospital is to provide a person centred approach and therapeutic environment, which promotes collaborative care planning to optimise treatment goals. Right from the point of admission to our acute services, our aim is to support patients to be discharged safely back into the community where they can continue to progress towards recovery in a less restrictive environment.

As a Specialty Doctor your day to day duties include:

·         Thorough assessment of individuals needs throughout admission

·         Person centred collaborative treatment plans

·         A range of interventions available from a diverse MDT

·         Being cared for in the least restrictive environment

·         Work closely with the Consultant Psychiatrists and the large multi-disciplinary team and be committed to providing quality patient focussed care

·         Comprehensive risk assessment and mental state examinations and competent physical health examinations and management

 

An ideal Specialty Doctor must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:

·         To join us, you must hold an MBBS qualification or equivalent and will be required to maintain full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).

·         Experience of working in inpatient settings of people with significant mental health difficulties

·         Good team player who must be keen to participate in a multidisciplinary approach to assessment, formulation and management plans

 

The successful Specialty Doctor will receive an excellent annual salary up to £80,000 depending on experience. This exciting position is a Full Time role for 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
